1.Structure and materials

2.Manufacturing process

FPC cables involve complex processes such as etching, electroplating, lamination, and drilling. FFC is to cut thin and flat conductor wires (such as copper wires) according to the required width and thickness, and then arrange the cut conductor wires at a certain spacing, and then cover the arranged wires with insulating materials through an extrusion process. Finally, the upper and lower layers of insulating materials are laminated on both sides of the arranged wires, and the materials are firmly combined using heat pressing and high pressure. The process is relatively simple, and the production efficiency is high.

FFC is a more economical solution for simple, straight-line connection applications, such as short-distance signal transmission.
